IT'S TOO DARN HOT!!!

Postby bob_r » Tue Jun 23, 2009 12:53 pm

The heat index hit 110 this morning and the actual temp is supposed to hit 101 this afternoon. The night time lows have been hovering around 80, so there isn't a good time to get outside to shoot. I did get a couple of shots of the kids playing in the pool today. Here's one of them.

It's a great shot. Reminds me of a similar one used for the advertising of the Minolta 9xi (my other camera).
Nights here are in the high 40s and today we're in the 80', it's dry and I've been kayaking. Finally nice days.

Cool Shot Bob!!

Funny how different we are when it comes to weather. I drove over Dunraven Pass today and laughed at the fact that there is still snow piled up taller than my truck in certain sections. Over 9000' in elevation will do wonders for temperatures even in the end of June. I had a jacket, hat and gloves on when I got out to snap a shot.

Pat,

As much as I hate the heat, I prefer it to the snow. :)

I'm with you, Bob.......right now it's 103 outside, and the humidity is rising (up to 30% from our normal 10%) because the Monsoon is tracking our way from Mexico- but I don't have to shovel it! :D

I don't mind heat, but high humidity is miserable. Cool picture Pat. ;)
