OK, I've got my 30D and my 50mm f/1.4. I wanna learn everything I possibly can with my 30D, so I can take full advantage of a more advanced body. That being said I need a couple of lenses to hold me over. How does this set-up sound?
[*]Tokie 12-24 f/4
[*]Sigma 24-70 f/2.8
[*]Canon 70-200 f/2.8L (No IS)
[*]Tokie 11-16 f/2.8 or maybe the 12-24 f/4 so I don't have to change lenses as often.
[*]Canon 17-55 f/2.8 IS
[*]Canon 70-200 f/2.8 (No IS)
[*]Sell 50mm and pick up 60mm Macro?
Do you think the 200mm focal length on my 1.6x crop will be long enough to shoot small town sports? I might pick up the 300 f/4L IS depening on how long I keep the 30D. I'm gonna order a tripod and wide angle for those Bahamian sunsets in the next few days. Looking at Induro and Benro, but I'll probably snag a Manfrotto just for security purposes.
On a side note, should I order any filters other than a cpl for my Tokie or just resort to HDR on my new pod?
