no, no workshop, we're friends and since he was coming this way he made sure his trip happened during my days off.
(We just got back from the park, and just shot a moose cow and her baby)

Thanks Bob, I like to shoot these type of action shots with about an f/4 so it has a shallow depth of field. I agree, that it makes the subject leap out of the frame.

I've never understood when photographers shoot with a super high depth of field and everything is in focus. You tend to lose your subject that way as it will blend in with the back ground.

No, Mitch, it wasn't a workshop, just the two of us getting up early to take photos.
Lewis is in Tibet right now, can't wait to see his photos.
