Dad took me this evening to see how i did. I had entered 3 photos. Got a 1st, 3rd and honorable mention!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm a tad happy. :D

I was sooo shocked when i found my flower photo had a blue ribbon on it. i was like "wha? that's my pic! Ah. oh man!" ahaha. I, honestly, wasn't expecting to do soooo well. Maybe a 3rd. But 1st? :D

anyway. just wanted to share my happiness with my fellow photographers and the people who've helped me soooo very very much. :D

Congrats, A.K., and I'm not surprised!!!!! :D :D :D

Enjoyed your pics of G.R. too, but haven't had much time to comment on pics. My granddaughter dislocated her kneecap the other day (again) and had to go back to her orthopedic doctor today. She had it scoped about a year ago and they removed a bunch of torn cartilage, but it keeps getting dislocated. An MRI is scheduled for Thursday to see if they'll perform another surgery to prevent this from happening. Since she's on crutches and has to wear a knee brace, I'm in charge of all the stable duties.

Congrats AK, that's awesome!
Teton county fair ended last Sunday but I was so busy I couldn't find the time to enter.
I'm happy for you.

Congrats! I enter paintings in the county fair (going tonight) and I realize it's just a county fair, but it's nice to get your work out there and have people see it. And even nicer when you win

thanks all!

Bob,
ohhhh. i hope your grandaughter gets better SOON! can't be much fun. :?

Luca,
Well that's a bummer. :? I'm SURE you could've done great. :D i love your photos.

Edd,
ahahaha. i think it does. it was my first time entering into the fair, and my first time getting first. :D or something like that! aha.

Pamela,
Well this was just a county fair as well. Maybe...50-70photos entered(maybe i dunno. i am not good at guessing numbers really well. ahaha) But yeah, i figure its a pretty good way to get my name out there.

thanks again!

A.K. I told you that photo was a winner the first time you posted it!

Congrats on your first win, and having a 3rd and honerable mention to back it up just goes to show you how well you've been learning and listening to everything we've been saying. Mix that with a good eye for compostition and look what happens! Great job!!
