Just wondering how wide a lens, max, that could be used to full advantage of the D 700's FX sensor. ???? I already know 18 is too wide, so? ") THANKS!!!

They make a 14-24mm that works on it, but that may be too wide for your tastes. Here's a link to some images taken with a D700 that shows the lens and focal length used. Hope this is helpful.

What do you mean "too wide" ? Too wide for the sensor to resolve it? If it is that case than "wow, that sensor sucks"

What do you mean "too wide" ? Too wide for the sensor to resolve it? If it is that case than "wow, that sensor sucks"

It would seems you do not understand the ratio thing-- to say the sensor sucks on a D700 proclaims to the entire world you have NO IDEA what you are talking about-- :roll:
