Thus the reason i call myself "umpires photographer". haha. Anyway. We just spent about 3days in Jamestown NY seeing my bro. Since they had a "double dip"(aka double header) on wednesday, i basically got to shoot two games in one night.
Then another game on Thurs. After deleting and going through all the photos, i believe i ended up with 300&some photos total.
I must say, i do really enjoy it - though the lights are little less then easy to shoot with.
But thanks to good mentors and reading, i was able to do my best.
Some of my bro umpire friends will be here in G.R at the end of Aug, and my mentors are going to let me barrow their 70-300mm(?) L lens. aperture 2.8.
I am a little excided, okay, a lot! lol.
Anywho, here are some of my /best/ shots over the 3games.
I am VERY open to C&C. thanks for looking,
(i know i chopped off his hand!
(i waited soo long to get him doing this from his "front side". never did get it. grr.)
Safe, safe, safe!
(that was a close play, so he "called" it safe like 2 or 3 times. lol)
(i was able to go into the press box!
twas cool. got one shot of the ball being fouled off and its like a blur in the shot. kinda neat.)
