We're having a go at trying out the assignments again, you remember we allot time for you to take shots of a particular subject then have a poll to see who submitted the best image.
The winner then choses the next subject.
The idea is to learn from each other, hopefully new techniques for shooting and editing to improve our images.
We'll give ourselves a time frame of a week (plus a little in this case) and then take a poll to chose a winner.
Our subject for this one will be fruit.
You can either go and buy some from the supermarket or go for a walk in your garden or around a field and see what it growing. It doesn't have to be edible (not for us anyway) but at this time of year there should be plenty starting to ripen up now ready for the fall.
Take as many images as you like and post no more than your best three on this thread.
Talk about what you did to get the shot, settings etc and any editing that you may of carried out on the images.
You can use stacking if you want to help increase depth of field, or use a spray to add a touch of moisture to your subject.
Finishing time will be Midnight Sunday (30th August), then we'll start a poll for five days to see who wins.
Remember this is open to all no matter what camera etc.
Good Luck to you all.
Looking forward to seeing those shots.
If you want to edit any of my images to demonstrate points/techniques to either myself or others please feel free to do so.
Still learning with Canon 40D, 28-135mm, 100-400mm L and Elements 6.
Any Advice greatfully received.
