Good for him!

I have that problem all the time.

Some fellow named Leonard had the nerve to copy one of my pictures

All joking aside, I haven't ever seen where her pictures were all that Special....EXCEPT... for the staging. he threw a bloody fortune in the setting for each shot. I gues that' why she's bankrupt.

Peter that photo is hilarious!

You're right, I know this photographer based in NYC who's also a friend of a friend and she makes a fortune. There is not a single photo that I like or that I considered valuable either technically or artistically. It's all in how good you are at marketing your work my friend. Take T. Mangelsen for example...

I think it's all in the perspective gldiana. Different people see thing differently

When my son was in grade school, he invited a friend and his mother over one afternoon. They were inner city NY people. His Father was one of those people that prefaced every sentence with the "F" word.
Anyway, we had a small stream that flowed through our property and I was proud of it. I had landscaped it and had benches to sit beside it, etc.

Anyway...this kid came running into our living room where I was trying to be pleasant (Which I'm not especially well known for) and shouts..."Hey Ma, didja see the sewa out there".

Yep, all in perspective.

HAHAHA... what can I say... New York people ;-)

I actually lived in NY even if only for 9 months and when you meet New Yorkers off the street they are especially nice. I still have many friends there.
