Getting Ready for Fall Trip to Mountains

Postby Pokie » Wed Oct 07, 2009 3:31 pm

I'm getting ready for my "almost annual" fall trip to the mountains.
I've been to Great Smoky Mountain National Park several years in a row.
Do I go back? Try somewhere else? Maybe a different corner of the park?
Last year I was a bit early and most color was very high up.
Year before I was at the end, but still got some very good shots.
I want to see moving water, colored leaves, misty mornings, dew covered spiderwebs...
Maybe I'll get lucky and see them all at the same time!
Getting ready is the next best thing to being there :D

A couple of modified shots from past trips

Thanks!

These are all from the North Carolina side of Great Smoky Mountains National Park, or the Blue Ridge Parkway near the park, between Cherokee and Maggie Valley, North Carolina.
I posted pictures from this year's trip under different forums - mostly Scenic, I think.
