Red Sky...

Postby ront » Fri Nov 27, 2009 1:12 pm

We have lived at our present location for about 13 years now. Over the last couple of years I have taken taken several pictures that used these trees as part of the picture. A couple of mornings ago, I was heading off to work and had to stop again to capture this photo. I hope you enjoy it.

It's a nice shot Ron with some lovely colours in that sky.

It reminds me of when I tried to get a similar sort of effect over water at sunrise. As the sun came up the mist suddenly got a lot thicker and the moment never transpired.
The mist on that occasion went a very similar colour to the sky in your shot, beautiful truly beautiful for the minute or so that it lasted for.
If you want to edit any of my images to demonstrate points/techniques to either myself or others please feel free to do so.
Still learning with Canon 40D, 28-135mm, 100-400mm L and Elements 6.
Any Advice greatfully received.

Love the softness of the colors and how warm it feels even though I'm sure it was probably pretty cold when you shot it
