On the west coast we know there aren't too many place we can photograph a nice coastal sunrise. At Channel Islands there are many but you can find a few on the mainland by doing some research... . .

Sunrise from Channel Islands Nat'l Park

Oh my, you would love it! The Channel Islands are referred to as the Galapagos of California. So much scenery and abundant wildlife. It's a must to experience at least once.
