Went with my youngest Boy (14 at the time) on a Hike with His class up Slide Mountain in June this year.
4 miles up and 4 miles down.
Didn't see any wildlife but saw signs.
VERY dense vegitation so if there was Wildlife it'd be hard to see.
Here are some of my best shots taken with my 10D I had at the time and my Sigma EX DG f2.8 24-70mm.
Bottom of the Hike to top.
VERY strange Tree Growth and Rock Formations at 4180ft!!
At the top the ONLY decidious Trees were VERY few Beach Nut Trees....95% of the trees were OLD Fir/Spruce Trees.
