Michigan Upper Peninsula Ablaze with Color

Postby Bonish Photo » Tue Sep 18, 2007 9:18 am

Michigan's Upper Peninsula is great right now. THe smaller trees are ablaze and I'm sure for the next few weeks the colors willonly get better.

Just thought I'd let anyone know who is heading this way.

After two storms that blew through the last two days, the colors are literally changing in front of us!! We drove down this back road all day yesterday to get to a campground on the Two Hearted River, and pulling out today, the colors are even better!!

Each day gets better and better!!

Was trying to decide which week to go to T - falls...

Postby rabs » Tue Sep 25, 2007 6:21 pm

I was going to leave tomorrow 9/26 for two days, but the person at the state park suggested that next wednesday and thursday will provide more color...

What are your thoughts?

Thanks,

Jeff

What my wife and I think is just amazing colors, a few locals that we talked to last night in the Porcupine Mountains told us it isnt peaking yet.

If you come up this week, you'll be amazed with the colors. Remember to bring your polorizing filter and a wide angle lens.

Make sure to post pictures
