Being that I am self-taught and have been mostly figuring things out on my own or from only my handy dandy Canon camera handbook for the past several years, I am not totally up on some terms.
I posted a photo of mine to cheer up a friend this past week. She asked me this:
Maybe someday you can share how you get that depth of field in your flower pics
I am now starting to see this term a lot more. But, I have no clue how I achieve it. I simply turn on my EOS 40, look through the lens, make my adjustments with shutterspeed, etc. and take the photo.
Could someone please help me with a simple way of explaining to someone else how a good DOF is achieved? Thanks so much.
