Tripod Head

Hi all,

What head recommended for Gitzo tripod G5540T? I want to use it for normal general photography, i know what head for large lenses like 400 or 600, but for those small lenses like 10-22, 16-35 and so on any Canon body, what are your recommendations?
I have another tripod which is Gitzo GT1540 for travel only, what head you recommend for it as well?

When I upgrade my current tripod setup, I think I'll go with a ballhead from "Really Right Stuff" and will probably go with one of their lever release types. Here's a link to their site to help you see what they offer.

I use a Kirk BH1 Ballhead. I love it. Very easy to use and very very smooth. Check out "www.kirkphoto.com". All of their stuff is top notch. They also have the custom plates for different bodies. The L Brackets are awesome.

Now i have 3 choices: :?

- RRS
- Markings
- Kirk

all are handy and all are recommended for my tripods.

And i will buy Wimberley Head II only for long heavy lenses when i will get one.

Thank you very much
