Sharks and Dreams

Postby gldiana » Wed Dec 07, 2011 11:44 pm

So a dream of mine was for a long time to be able to dive with sharks and a few days ago I finally did it.
I wrote a post about it in my blog if anyone is interested:

Hi Pat,

Unfortunately I had a little mishap, so while I was in Bahamas my underwater camera (G10 plus casing) was in Palau, Micronesia.

I was planning to go diving in Palau with a friend, we made it all the way to Guam and airline would not let me get on the flight to Koror, Palau because my passport had 5 1/2 months of validity left and thet said that state is very strict on having 6 (!!) months validity. So I turned around and flew back to the States and have the G10 to my friend to take photos of Palau. I got my camera back only a few weeks ago as my friend ended up getting a job there (he's a dive master) and staying longer than our planned 3 days.

We do, but we miss the road more. Motel is up for sale and we should be back on the road by the end of this year. Just needed to make some money!

Started this in another thread in General Photography, but check out the Best Of from 2011
