Hi Dalantech and HRife, thank you both very much for your supportive remarks!!! I'm sorry it took me a week to get back to this forum, work has been crazy busy lately. But yesterday I finally had time to get outdoors with my camera. I wanted to capture shots of a real orange dragonfly interacting with my replica. Unfortunatelly the wind was blowing and it was mid day, so the quality isn't satisfactory.
My setup includes a D200, Nikon 200mm AF lens, Gitzo trekker with a Novoflex full size Magic Ball. I love this set up, lets me get any angle I want, even at ground level.
I still need to go through the hundreds of shots captured yesterday, pick a few favorites, and run them through Nikon Capture and CS2.
Anyway, I'm glad to meet people who share my passion, below are a couple of new shots, but they are not what I envision or want, so I get to have more fun soon, and will capture something I can be proud of. BTW, that includes tying a better replica, especially the legs....
