Hi Hugh,

the second photo has beautiful hues. The first I'm not sure why you cut the foreground (construction cranes?).

Hi Hugh,
the sunset colors are better in the shot you posted earlier but the composition is way better in this new photo.
In the original photo the foreground becomes a disturbing element because it is cut off. Unless exceptional (and I still have to see one, included my own photos) a photo of a sunset with no added elements is just plain boring. The harbor photo with a nice sunset would make for a good stock photo.

Oh yes, the last post was much more interesting. Dark and foreboding and interesting.

Hi Hugh,

The village where I live does flood frequently, but I have quite a steep drive so my house is located a good 35 - 40ft above the stream.

My neighbour however lives only 1 ft above the highest part the the stream banks and was flooded twice last year.

Will fish out some photos and post, but I need to find them first, will try to do that tomorrow.

hahaha, we just gotta love those moments. It's prefect cause it's like right in the middle of the shot. I think it just adds something to the shot.
