Old Time-Lapse pics

Postby bob_r » Sun Sep 21, 2008 7:57 am

-I pulled a muscle in my back Friday, so haven't been able to get out to take any photos this weekend. I had hoped to participate in the time lapse challenge for this week, but I don't believe I'll be able to. I decided to open a thread where we could post our old images. Here are a couple of shots taken from the same location at almost the same time, with just a few changes.

Both of these shots were taken from my driveway with a Canon 30D and a Canon 17-55IS lens.

BTW, the church is about a 1/2 mile away and is actually in a different town.

The same shot with the same equipment, but with a little longer exposure and a star filter.

Here are several different interpretations of time-lapse from the old photo bank.

The first two relate to the idea of new and old coexisting side by side.

New & old architecture illustrating the passage of time in the area of design & construction.
Got a moon and a clock to boot...

New flowers next to an old grave. Or, better yet - new life in the form of wisteria in the mist of reminders of death.

Erosion. Moss and lichens and the seasons being the forces of erosion weathering the boulder from the mountain.

Motion - or rather apparent motion. Did this with a 'homemade lensbaby' which is actually just shooting backwards through a wide angle lens that I have tilted slightly to the prime lens.

I came; I saw; I shot; I shared.
