Horseshoe Bend is one of the most iconic locations of the American Southwest. It's been photographed countless times by countless photographers. The popularity of this geographic masterpiece and the symmetrical shape make it very difficult to create a composition that hasn't been done before. But lucky for me, the weather served up a gorgeous mosaic of scattered clouds that captured the sunset light and added an interesting element to this landscape. I used Lee split ND filters to maintain exposure in the sky and foreground. No HDR used.
