I ran off to the Grand Canyon with less than 24 hours warning because there was supposed to be a 70% chance of thunderstorms. Of course my luck being what it is, instead of thunderstorms it was gray and rainy, as if they'd moved the Grand Canyon to Seattle. Most of the time it was filled with fog and you couldn't even tell it was there. Finally in the late afternoon the storm cleared, and the clouds lit up just before sunset. Taken at Grandview Point.
