Description

The Yellow River or Huang He (黄河) is the second-longest river in China (after the Yangtze River,长江) and the sixth-longest in the world at the estimated length of 3,395 miles. It has been called "the cradle of Chinese civilization". The river is poetically called the "Muddy Flow" as this rushing river seems always muddy and yellow. However, at the upstream in Qinghai and Gansu provinces, the river is so clean, clear and green!
