I headed to Iceland to chase the Northern Lights. Luck plays a large part in whether or not I get to see it. You need clear sky and solar activities. After getting snow and rain for three days, I finally got the sighting outside Reykjavik. Be prepared with warm clothing and small flashlight in the pitch dark helps a lot. A sturdy tripod is a must for the long exposure. Putting up with strong wind and cold weather is well worth it.
