Teotihuacan Mexico is about 45 min from Mexico City. One of the most important archeological sites in the country.
These image series is part of a book documentary done for the Department of Education and the Teacher's Union in Mexico. I took portraits of each teacher being recognized for his/her work going beyond duty for the sake of education. At the same time I took some representative landscapes to illustrate the towns where they live and/or teach.
The Pyramid of the Moon is the second largest pyramid in Teotihuacan, Mexico after the Pyramid of the Sun. It is located in the western part of Teotihuacan and mimics the contours of the mountain Cerro Gordo (hill seen on background), just north of the site.
