Notes

Tasmania is in the Roaring 40's latitude, so it can snow at any time of year. Take layers of clothing. Also Tasmania sits under the Ozone Hole in Summertime, so the sun is searing even if the temperature isn't very high or of there is cloud cover. Always use sunblock and wear a hat. There are plenty of accomodation options, from Tent sites to 5 star Motels.

Description

Located in the Northern end of Tasmania's Cradle Mountain Lake St Clair National Park Considered to be one of the State's most Iconic mountains, it gets many visitors each year. It is also the beginning of the famous Overlander Track for walkers heading South.
