The closest airport is in Campo Grande. From there you go by car east to ChapadÃ£o do Ceu. This is the closest to for lodging. From there it is approximately 25 km on a dirt road to the south entrance of the park. You can only enter the park with a local guide.
This is a termite mound in Emas National Park in Brazil at sun set. At the start of the raining season (October thru early November) bioluminescent larvae of the Click-beetle (Pyrearinus termitilluminans) appear. Emas National Park is known for its high concentration of termite mounds and it is said that these bettle larvae only are seen in this park.
