Notes

McKittrick is the most beautiful of the hiking areas within Guadalupe Mountains National Park in Texas. The McKittrick Canyon trail is about 7.5 miles round trip if you go as far as "The Grotto" and return. Longer hikes can be made depending upon your time and abilities. Another great but strenous hike in the park is to the top of Guadalupe Peak (8.4 miles round trip) which is the highest point in Tesas.
