If one makes it to the town of Glen Rose (population about 2000) finding the park won't be a problem. Ask a local and they will steer you in the right direction.
This region of the Lone State State is rolling country with cedar studded hillsides, great spring wildflower displays and idyllic country towns.
Big Rocks Park is right in the middle of the town of Glen Rose, Texas. The Paluxy River Runs on the edge of this little park. There are some very unique formations at this location and is a nice side trip while visiting the area. Dinosaur Valley State Park is just down the road about 5 miles.
