Friday night, September 6, 2013, we drove to Sunrise - Mount Rainier National Park to try and shoot some stars. At 9pm in the parking lot, we were in the clouds with no visibility. Around 10pm it started to thin and the stars started to appear, so we hiked up towards Sourdough Ridge to set up. There were only a couple of short windows where the clouds cleared, giving us a view of Mount Rainier beneath the Milky Way. What a treat to enjoy these Friday Night Lights!
