Description: After a day of shooting in a hide net hoping to bring home a nesting shorebird image, the day had drawn to twilight. I had been in a camo net most of the late afternoon and early evening dragging the long lens gear in a plastic tub covered because of the windy sandy conditions. I had put everthing carefully away for the hike back to the parking lot, but opened a bottle of water to simply enjoy the lingering soft light. I turned to replace the cover over the lense and was treated to this moment.
Gear: Canon 5DMii, 600mm f4 with 2x extender on a beanbag in the sand dunes.
