In my lightboxes:
- Title: Fog Of Monhegan
- State/Province/Region: Maine
- Country: United States
- Nearest Area: Penobscot Bay
- Nearest Town: Port Clyde
- Description: This was taken with my first digital camera. I still own it , and would really like to send it out to have it converted for infrared shooting, but I carry it along for my grandchildren when they wish to "try it" so it has not happened yet. What I found interesting was that after the years which have passed since taking this image, the well written article on atmosherics got me thinking not only about various shooting settings for optimum chances for good captures, but even has me thinking differently about post processing to best retain the nature induced bokeh. How I wish I had already taught myself the basics of shooting raw when this one presented itself.
- Gear: Canon 10D, 24mm, gitzo 1548 tripod, descending harness, rain hood
