- Title: Mono Blaze
- State/Province/Region: California
- Country: United States
- Nearest Area: Yosemite national park
- Nearest Town: Lee Vining
- Best Season: Summer
- Description: Late spring and early summer bring dramatic clouds over the eastern sierras and paint the sky in colorful warm hues over mono lakes south tufa preserve. Out of all the lakes I have visited, this is by far the most unusual and in an incredibly pleasing way. I spent two days photographing these alien like tufa formations, but was only given one incredible display of light. Definitely the most scenic shoreline I've seen on a lake.
- Gear: Canon 7d 17-40mmL @17mm benro tripod singh ray 2 stop and 3 stop GND filters
