• Description: This old barn is part of a deserted homestead on the eastern plains of Colorado where there are often wonderful cloud formations that can be seen for miles. The clouds add so much interest to the image that I rarely go out east to shoot unless there are clouds in the sky, the time of day is much less important for me. In my mind, the drama represented by the clouds reflects the struggles and hardships of those that came to settle the western plains.
