A storm was approaching early in the morning. Rather than turn green, as the sky often does before a major storm, the sky turned orange. The color of the sky brought out the color of the fall leaves. A rain just a few days before had caused many of the leaves to fall. When I stepped out the door of my house the sky, the trees, and the ground all appeared nearly the same color. The strange effect only lasted a few moments. I had never seen anything quite like it. I am never far from my camera, and snapped a short in those few moments of bizarre lighting.
