- Description: Taken on Jan 30, 2012 - ISO100 - f/8.0 - 1/80 second - 48mm: I have the opportunity to visit the state of Michigan a couple of times each year. And with each visit I am extremely fortunate to be within driving distance of South Haven. While coastal scenery in general is one of my favorite subjects to photograph, I have to say the South Haven Lighthouse is very near the top of my list! The lighthouse is amazingly photogenic and I have never been disappointed with the atmosphere when visiting. This evening was particularly glorious and I don’t think I’ve ever been blessed with more photogenic conditions!
