  • Description: The Pic was taken at Bhandavgarh (Madhya Pradesh) on April 9 2012 from a Gypsy. The pic was properly planned for. On April 8 2012 evening, we came across Mother Tigress Benbahai & her 3 Cubs gorging on a Kill. Since it was a Sambar Deer we knew they would be around the kill next day too. It was late evening so we decided to call it a day and return at the same spot next day. I wanted a picture of the kill & the cub and was rewarded with the same. The Cub was very very aggressive when eating. We were far off from the scene to ensure that the cub is not disturbed. For an hour it gorged on the food before it went to cool off at the nearby pond. This picture captures the alertness and the aggression of the cub well.
