- Description: Waiting down by a local pond for the moon to rise on May 25th, it looked as though it was not going to happen on that evening. Just as I had packed up the tripod and camera and started to leave, the clouds broke and the bright moon light appeared, rising from behind some tall southern pines. I quickly reset all the equipment and snapped this photo shortly before 11:00 p.m. Settings: 200 mm, f/11, ISO-100, 1/125.
- Gear: Canon 7D, with a Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS II
