Brief Directions: The town of Old Saybrook created a little park overlooking the mouth of the Connecticut River at the entrance to their landfill. This shot was taken from that park.
Description: The goal for this shot was to catch the moon as it broke over the horizon just minutes after sunset. As it goes with full moon shots the weather didn't cooperate. Low lying clouds blocked the visibility of the moon until about 15 minutes past sunset. What caught me here was the lines created by the marsh area extending out into the Connecticut River
