Early Morning Light Along Queens Garden Trail Bryce Canyon National Park

  • Title: Early Morning Light Along Queens Garden Trail Bryce Canyon National Park
  • State/Province/Region: Utah
  • Country: United States
  • Nearest Town: Bryce Canyon City
  • Brief Directions: The trail head at the rim of the canyon is well marked but a map from the visitors center does not hurt. The hike down is not challenging but keep in mind that you do have to climb back out.
  • Best Season: Spring
  • Description: Hiking the trail to Queens Garden in Bryce Canyon National Park provides an entirely different perspective from that viewed from the canyon rim up above.. AS the morning light spills down into the canyon, the features of the hoodoos and other rock formations change. The lone pine up against the wall caught my eye as the soft rays of sun painted the wall of the formation. The constantly changing scene offered opportunities galore and I thought this was one of the best.
