- Description: 1/4000 sec @ f4, 800 ISO.
Shot exactly 1 year ago today, 8/24, while enroute from Anchorage to Seward on the Alaskan railroad. The shades of green we encountered along the way were incredible, maybe even more than in Hawaii. I shot this from between the cars while hanging out far enough to get the reflection. Note: They frown upon photographers hanging out the side of the train. I wanted a high shutter speed to reduce the effects of the moving train and the wind moving the camera so I opened up to f4 and bumped the ISO to 800. Kinda wish I would have gone to 1600 ISO so I could stop the lens down for more depth of field. Oh well guess I'll just have to go back and try again!
