- Description: Another early morning and I find myself slithering out of my sleeping bag. Tired, cloudy and in desperate need of more sleep, I grab my gear, toss it in the car and head out in search for good light. I knew where I wanted to photograph and when I arrived, it was just myself and one other gentleman.
As we waited for the light, we conversed about cameras, gear, where we had visited the past few days, etc. and welcomed the others that slowly trickled in. The light began to melt over the the Teton Range and I was framed and ready for action in my spot.
Focusing on a nice pano that was exposed correctly was key, and with my 0.9 Lee Soft Graduated ND and Promaster CP-L filters, I made sure that the lighting was cooked to perfection. Although there were some individuals that tried to smoother out the good mood while there, overall the lighting and friends were great.
An easy spot to get to, I may have to give it a once over next time I'm in the Jackson Hole area.
- Gear: Canon 5D Mk II, 24-105 f/4 IS, Promaster CP-L, 0.9 Lee Soft Grad ND, Gitzo Tripod, RRS Ballhead
