- Description: Woodtick Reservoir is a small, recreational lake formed by the impounded waters of the Mad River just a few moments down the road from my home in the small town of Wolcott, Connecticut. I drive by this reservoir on a daily basis, oftentimes passing it on my way to photograph landscapes that are hours away. The remarkable scenes that occasionally materialize over this lake certainly never get old, though, and I'm grateful that there is a place so picturesque right "in my backyard", so to speak.
- Gear: Nikon D5000, circular polarizer, 2-stop soft-graduated neutral density filter
