In my lightboxes:
- Title: Ice Bubble
- State/Province/Region: Oregon
- Country: United States
- Description: Our ice and snow melted 2 weeks ago. For this assignment I arranged some natural and polished rocks in a white plastic bowl. I covered them with water and froze them in my freezer. I set up my telephoto macro on the tripod in my kitchen, using a LED flashlight for side lighting. I took this photo after the ice started to melt in my tiny "rock pond," and I took it out of the bowl and set it on a white plastic dish. The shades of lavender are from some of the polished rocks that were in my frozen arrangement.
- Gear: Canon EOS REBEL T5i, Tamron 300 mm telephoto/macro, Polaroid Circular Polarizer, MeFoto tripod
