- Description: A beautiful eleven mile round trip hike.With seventeen hundred foot gain. Started at the trail head around seven that evening and made it to the lake around ten. Working are way through seven feet of snow and a lot of guessing where the trail was at.After setting up the tent in the dark I had know idea what a beautiful half frozen lake I was going to wake up to in the morning. At five thirty am i captured this image. It truely was a amazing sight.
