- Description: I had just taken a 20 foot lead fall and was enduring a full scale ice storm as I pulled onto this small ledge, about 120 feet off the ground. Our motivation to climb the last few pitches dwindled in the face of the storm. I pulled my camera out of my "survival" pack in order to occupy myself while my partner rappelled the route, and snapped this frame showing my exposed position on the wall.
