A winter storm was just ending, with a ray of sunshine temporarily peaking from a dramatic rain-filled sky. A lone kayaker had just gone out to take advantage of the brief weather respite. When he crossed the light shaft on the water I snapped the picture. A moment later the sunshaft was gone.
