- Description: While capturing images of a sunrise at the Big Badlands area of the Badlands National Park we all had turned our attention to the "alpenglow" of the western cliffs of the area. Before long we heard the instructor, Tony Sweet, say "You all better turn around" and when we did, practically in unison, this was the scene that met our eyes. The fleeting moment lasted about 2 minutes, but was perhaps one of the best sunrise displays I've seen in a long time.
