Photo Details

  • Title: Surfing At North Avalon, Nsw
  • State/Province/Region:
  • Country: Australia
  • Nearest Area: New South Wales
  • Nearest Town: Sydney
  • Description: Surfing at North Avalon Beach - one of Sydney's norther beaches
  • Notes: The Nikon 80mm-200mm lens is probably the most versatile piece of equipment in my kit. It maintains f2.8 right thru its focal length. I have used it at night time sporting events; for sunsets, for landscapes; and to photograph birds and flowers. The fact that it lets in plenty of light thru its 2.8 aperture, means that in low light situations, it will succeed where slower zooms will fail. In normal daylight situations it achieves great results.
  • GPS Longitude: 151
  • GPS Latitude: 34
  • Best Season: Summer
  • Gear: Nikon D300 with Nikon f2.8 80-200mm lens
