- Description: Having never been to a genuine soutwestern desert area before, visiting Joshua Tree Natl. Park for the first time was truly exciting. Getting up before dawn I was treated to a chilly 18 degree morning with glorious warm sunlight moving down the rocky face in thunderous silence.
I was awestruck with the chisled beauty of the landscape of wonderful crazy rocks and plant life.
