• Description: This photo is very memorable to me for several reasons. 1. I was accompanying my elderly mother on an incredible Lindblad Expeditions cruise through Mexico's Sea of Cortez. My dad didn't want to go, so I did. He missed out. 2. The small size of the ship (approximately 60 passengers) was perfect for following wildlife, such as whales, when they surfaced. One morning during breakfast, a large pod of dolphins happened by, jumping, diving, cruising alongside the ship, and riding our bow wave. We abandoned breakfast. Leaning over the bow of the ship, I snapped this shot, feeling as if I was experiencing nature at its best.
